I absolutely love photographing parents holding their new bub because even in a month or so they will be able to look back with a big "awwwww!" and amazement at how small their little one was in those few days. Take a look at some more cuteness below.
Planning has begun for our special outdoor Mother's Day sessions on the Central Coast! Just for the Mamas, Kids (and older kids), Nans and fur-babies.
I had the pleasure of meeting baby Zahli when she was just two weeks old!
This year has been absolutely amazing, I have met so many wonderful families, new babies, businesses and clients - I feel blessed to have people choose me to capture all the special times in their lives!
The day is here everyone! I hope you've all been enjoying the day with loved ones and having way too much cake. To celebrate here are some more of the fun Christmas sessions from this years Minis.
With Christmas Eve here I want to kick things off with some photographs from this years Christmas Mini Sessions!
Working through my back log of favourite sessions I have to share from this year - this beautiful young family is definitely on top of the list.
This year for Mother's Day I decided to partner with some talented local businesses to offer our Mum's a special day of pampering, style and memories with their little ones!
It's times like this I think I honestly have the best job in the world. To be able to hang out with new babies all the time, meeting lovely families and capturing these moments that pass way to quickly.
I am in love with sunsets like this. The pink sky, the beautiful blue water - it's a perfect recipe for a fun day out. Add in a gorgeous family (and an adorable bub) and we have the perfect day for a family session on the beach!
I love photography that is relaxed and tells a bit of a story, hopefully you can see this here too!

Erin, her three kiddos and their cousin made our session full of activity and laughter. They had a lot of fun on the beach, running and rolling down the sand dunes and at the end playing in the water. I like to give kids the freedom to be themselves during sessions, even though these kids were super active they were amazing and gave me a chance to take some photos of them sitting all together and I even got some cheeky smiles!
As I'm sitting here reflecting on my first year in business and to all the people and families I've met this year, who chose and supported Mala Moon Photography & Art and let me be a little part of their lives my heart is so full with appreciation and gratitude!
Feeling lucky to have met this family! They came out for our session in the early morning, with the night before predicting rain we had our fingers crossed the predictions were wrong and it must've worked because we ended up with some beautiful lighting and some of my favourite photographs this year!
With only a few days till Christmas I thought it was time to start sharing some of the beautiful families I've met during the past few weeks!
Here is a beautiful family I got to photograph late October.
We had so much fun running, playing and making sand castles on the beach! This is what it's all about - natural, real love!
I often get the question when booking in a new session, "what do I wear?" or actually more often "what should hubby wear?! So I decided to write some tips down that might help when it comes to choosing the best outfit for your session.
This year I'll be offering my first ever Christmas Mini Sessions! From the 22nd - 30th November.
When I first started taking photos years ago, it didn't take me too long to figure out what my favourite thing to photograph was - real love and real connections. When I met Kaye & Dan on this day for their couples anniversary session I knew I'd have so much fun telling their story and capturing their connection.
